That's Not Studios casts, directs and produces short-form video for brands. The people on camera are credited performers on a monthly retainer, not anonymous faces, and the company we're building now is the one we'll cast from for film.

A performer who can actually hold a frame demonstrates your product to a brief. Scripted or unscripted, always directed.
Series, not one-offs
Recurring faces build recognition. We cast a small company per brand and keep them, so the tenth video lands harder than the first.
Edited and delivered ready to post
Captions, cover frame, disclosure label and safe-area layout handled. You receive finished files, or we run the channels.
Direction from the stage
Every video is directed by someone trained in acting and directing, with a method for getting a true moment on camera quickly.
How a video gets made
Four steps, every time. The sequence is the product.
Brief
We write a numbered shoot brief: the product, the beats, the tone, the deliverables and the deadline. You approve it before anyone shoots.
Performance
A performer from the company shoots to the brief and uploads raw footage to our shared folder. Direction notes go back the same day if a take needs another pass.
Edit
We cut, caption and brand each video in Texas, place the disclosure label and the performer's credit, and check it against each platform's safe areas.
Publish
Files delivered to you, or posted to the brand's channels on schedule with paid promotion pointed at your store.
The company
We hire performers the way a theatre does: a company, cast per project, credited by name.
- Credited on screenEvery performer appears with their name and city in the cast card. Nobody is presented as a customer or an independent reviewer.
- Paid monthly, in USDRetainers, not one-off gigs. Paid on the 1st of the month through Wise, with a written agreement up front.
- Portfolio rightsPerformers may use the finished work in their own reel and portfolio. The footage never has to appear on their personal feeds.
- A path to filmThat's Not Studios is developing an independent film slate for 2027–28. The company is where that casting starts.
